Death Star Diorama 37

Since it is intended to be displayed landed with the gear down, the wings are molded in the closed position. Opening them up to the attack position is the major modification I performed. Using the kit wing as a template, I cut new wings from .015" sheet styrene. The wings were made as a single piece to extend through the fuselage. I cut notches in the wings so they would interlock egg-crate fashion.
