I cut the deck from a laminate of Northeastern Models' wood decking and .040" styrene sheet plastic. The wood decking, a sheet of glued-together wood strips, is the best thing I have found for making a realistic deck. The plastic sheet substrate provides strength and a surface to which other plastic parts can be glued. They are laminated with 3M spray contact adhesive. As usual, I drew in the butt joints and trunnels with pencil and sprayed the deck with Testor's Dulcote.
