Batmobile 1966 11

The Batmobile has a jet or rocket nozzle at its rear. I made this nozzle from Evergreen tubing. A notch was cut in the model's body into which a short length of 1/2" tubing wrapped with 0.020" sheet was cemented. Scrap plastic and super glue filler was used to fair this into the body. A 5/8" long piece of 1/2" diameter tubing had a piece of sheet plastic rolled into a tube to fit inside it, leaving a 1/4" extending to fit into the tubing in the body. This tube was wrapped with Evergreen corrugated metal siding. An interior baffle was made from 5/16" diameter tubing, held by six spacers.
