Chuck pulled back hard on the stick and the P-80 responded, looping up and over in a tight turn. The G force smashed him into his seat, stretched the flesh of his face back in a terrible grimace. He knew he as reaching his limit when his vision began to narrow as if he were looking through a tunnel. He grunted to help with the pressure. He kept the plane right at that point, right on the edge of blacking out, until he saw the world right side up again and then leveled out. It worked. The bogie was in his sights again and he blasted it. He saw it vibrate to hits, this time, but it climbed away into it's own tight loop. The Nazi pilot was too good.
