A few years back at Dragon*Con in Atlanta, several people complimented me on my Jurassic Park cosplay. I wasn't doing any cosplay at the time and it took a while for me to figure out that the clothes I was wearing (khaki pants and safari shirt, with a bush hat) and my own appearance (old, wire-rim glasses, gray beard and hair) made me resemble John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), the character in the movie who created Jurassic Park. All I needed to complete the impression was the unique cane that he carried.
