    I then cut the head off the screw. I drilled a hole into the bottom of the resin casting (in the molded ring) the same size as the shaft of the cut-off screw. The wolf's head then was attached to the cane with the epoxy. The steel screw reached far into the casting and with the epoxy made a very strong structure.
