Death Star Diorama 44

I planned to mount the Falcon on a 1/8" rod so I drilled a hole that size in the bottom just forward of the window in the laser turret. This is pretty close to the balance point for this kit and seemed the best point for the support. On the inside, I cemented a length of 3/16" Evergreen tubing (which has an inside diameter a bit more than 1/8") and buttressed it with .040" thick supports and epoxy. When that had all set up, I cemented the top and bottom halves together.
