Slammers model 02

The hull and turret of the tank were made entirely from sheet styrene. Bulkheads were glued to a flat base and the sides, tops and bottoms were built up from individual pieces. The design lent it self to this form of construction since most of the surfaces are flat. Only the center top of the hull and the corners of the turret have compound curves. These were made by heat forming sheets of plastic over appropriately shaped plugs.
