    I have been asked how I made the lift fans. At the time, my wife was using Flicker razors. When I saw them I immediately thought they would be useful in modeling. When I decided to build the hover tank, I thought the curved, blade-like ribs of the center knob looked like they might be part of a high-speed fan.
