I scrounged a half cylinder from my parts box to make the boiler aft of the superstructure. Originally a space lab in a shuttle kit, it was the right diameter but too short. I lengthened it by adding a strip of styrene to one end. The molded ribs on the piece looked just like reinforcing bands on a boiler so I left them. I cut the pressure head from a plastic dome with a radius about twice that of the cylinder. I cemented a flat bottom sheet to the boiler so it would be easier to attach to the deck. The funnel was made from a scrap piece of tubing. I added a ring of strip styrene around the top to make the funnel cap. The space lab cylinder had two circles molded on its top which I believe were for connecting airlocks and such. I was lucky that the aft one was just the right size to serve as a base for the funnel. I cemented disks sliced off a styrene rod around the perimeter of the forward circle. They simulated boltheads and turned the circle into an access cover.
