Between Planets Shuttle 25

The finished model. I painted it yellow because the illustration on the Scribner edition hardcover (not the dust jacket) is all in yellow ink. Since I had a copy without a dust jacket for a long time, that yellow image of the shuttle is how I remember it. But it also seems reasonable to me that a spacecraft making risky take-offs and landings on a planet covered largely in jungle might be painted yellow to make it easier to find in case of emergency landings out in those jungles.
