on 2026-Aug-31 08:31:23 Administrator said ir intakes for the shuttles ramjet engine were made by adding sheet plastic to the bottom of the front of the wing box. These were faired into the wing and body with superglue filler. I now wish I had cut the inlets back a bit to a shallow angle, even though straight across inlets like these are very typical of modern jet aircraft.
