May 1962 The Challenge of the Gas Master: Another costumed criminal, this one a master of using gas devices, must be stopped by the Blackhawks. The Aging Blackhawks: The Jackal uses ancient magical pods to turn the Blackhawks into doddering old men, but Blackie, who has also been aged, discovers the antidote and returns the team their youth. The Princeling Sorcerer: A crook, Black Patch, lies to the Prince of a Indian Ocean island, telling him the Blackhawks are evil villains coming to steal the giant sacred diamond. While the Prince uses his magic powers to fight the Blackhawks, Black Patch takes the diamond and discovers it is the source of the Prince's powers. The Prince destroys the diamond rather than let it fall into evil hands.
