The Strongest Man on Earth - After killing the chief of an Amazonian jungle tribe, Atlo, the strongman, and his spokeswoman, Luva, take control of the tribe, forcing them into manual labor, drilling into the mountains and laying railroad track. Incala, one of the tribesmen who had befriended Blackhawk in the past, sends a message for help to him. The Hawks confront Atlo but are overpowered and imprisoned, soon to be made sacrifices on the alter of the temple of the Sun. Incala surfaces into their cell from a hidden passage way and he and Blackhawk exchange disguises so Blackhawk can get to the reasons behind the slave labor camp.
The Black Dervish of Death - A Holy War rages in the middle east as the Legionnaires from Fort Abd-En-Krim radio the Hawks for help. The Black Knights get involved with a war started by the Black Dervish to divert attention from neighboring countries who're planning to invade the desert nation. The Hawks thwart each ambush made by the Dervish until their final confrontation and unmasking.
Reapers of Starvation - Shortage of food supplies weaken the country of Rebolo for a new government, so the U.S. make arrangements to export wheat to the starving nation. But spies and saboteurs start to work from within America's borders as they try to gain control of vast wheat crops. The Hawks are put on guard in case of possible sabotage but Lila Dee, a farmer from Europe, has arranged different means of destroying American wheat fields. One of her deadliest plagues remains locked inside the walls of a greenhouse until the Hawks discover her true identity.

The Fiendish Brain - Dr. Vardan, the world's greatest scientist, works on a top secret project that will, one day, help all of mankind. His stepdaughter, Ina, asks the Hawks for help, claiming Vardan was in danger. Upon his arrival, Blackhawk is knocked out and made a captive. From Ina, he learns Vardan is dead but he's shown the scientist's secret project. A huge, electronic brain, a super-computer. Ina, a treacherous woman, and her gang plan on using it to have Blackhawk betray his comrades, one by one.
