Editor's Note: Before you start reading this story you should know that it is unfinished, and may never be finished. Derrick started well and was enthusiastic about his Blackhawk story for awhile, but apparently lost interest and abandoned it. I haven't heard from him in nearly a year and suspect I never will again. It's a shame, because it's not a bad story. If you want to see what might have been an interesting take on a new Blackhawk team, go ahead and read it. If you don't care to start a story that has no end, then I would recommend against this one.
