November 1949 Blackhawk stamps out the scourge of the Scorpion: The Scorpion steals the metal destroyer from Professor Johanse and uses it to destroy a ship carrying delegates to the international peace conference. His next attack is on the capital of SVOLSKA, hoping to start a world war. The Blackhawks defeat his giant dirigible and metal destroyer by building planes from plywood which his destroyer can't affect. Torchy - delivers a check from the Young Women's Philanthropic Society to the Home for Aged Ladies. Will Bragg - becomes involved in a fencing duel with world famous swordsman, Baron De Pomme. Ezra - doubledates with Dilsbury to take Myrna and her cousin Kate to the fall dance.
