October 1962 The Menace of the Alien Earthlings (a two part story): Gonar, a criminal gang leader, finds an alien device which he uses to change his gang and himself into aliens with fantastic abilities. He transforms Blackhawk who, in a mindless state, attacks his team mates. The rest of the Blackhawks capture the alien device and return Blackhawk and the gang to their human forms. The Town that Time Forgot: While testing a new, miniature jet over the California coast, Blackhawk makes a forced landing near a town that has been sealed off from the rest of the world since 1906, the date of the San Francisco earthquake. The isolation is maintained by a cabal of city leaders who like the absolute power they exercise. They are defeated by the Blackhawks and the city is returned to the modern world.
