A Gathering Storm- (My title) The Hawks must intervene before two neighboring countries, Posnia and Bragen, go to war. Both countries presidents, once old friends and classmates, feel they must protect their lands and people from the other. Blackhawk believes a third party is involved and Posnia's President Anish can give him only twelve hours to prove it before his Cabinet declares war on Bragen. Blackhawk suspects Sard Krupo, a local munitions magnate, of profiteering from the sales of arms to both countries. But since he sells them at cost, Krupo couldn't possibly profit from these transactions, could he?

Blackhawk 1-pg text story - "The Destroyer Strikes"

The Death Demons - In a backward, superstitious country, the Hawks arrive just in time to save the beautiful Iona from being sacrificed to flying creatures the locals call Death Demons. Iona tells her rescuers about her people's long-practiced sacrificial rites to the demons to prevent tragedy befalling them. Iona's people turn her away believing her to be property of the demons. As the Hawks fly over the demons mountain lair, Iona, traveling with Andre, parachutes out to complete her sacrifice. Blackhawk follows her down and the two investigate the lair. Here they discover the demons true secrets but will not be allowed to leave the mountain lair alive.
