April 1949

Number One in Crime- The US is hit with a nationwide crimewave headed by a leader called Number One. Blackhawk is asked to go undercover and join the criminal organization by posing as Hans Grizzo, a European second-story man, caught trying to enter the country illegally. Blackhawk is caught by the police and the other Blackhawks and sent to jail. He's broken out of jail by Number One's men and, before he can officially join the organization, must prove his devotion by destroying Blackhawk island. A prearranged plan makes him successful and he's brought to Number One's headquarters where he meets the leader of massive crime spree... and she's a beauty!

Captain Suicide - An evil, crimson version of Blackhawk who calls himself Captain Suicide, threatens a list of factory owners with bombing their plants unless they pay a million dollars in ransom. He warns his phantom bomber squadron will destroy unless the owners comply. The Hawks are called in to help but when the owners refuse to pay and their plants are destroyed, Suicide's squadron isn't seen, let alone caught, and the authorities suspect the black knights are in league with the bombers. Try as they might, the Hawks cannot apprehend Suicide's phantom force and must try other means to stop him.
