The Batplane

Another panel from Detective Comics No. 61 that clearly shows the standard features of the early Batplane, i.e. propeller, fixed landing gear with support strut, and wide cabin. The red stripe down the side of the fuselage was a decoration that was seen frequently in these early issues, but gradually disappeared from the Batplane.
